Biodiesel is good for Business
Matrix Technologies was recently selected to provide the Electrical Design and Integration for a new biodiesel facility being constructed in Claypool, IN near Fort Wayne. Louis Dreyfus Agricultural Industries is building what will be the world’s largest biodiesel facility on the site. When completed in June of 2007, the facility will be able to process up to 90MM gallons of fuel annually. The plant will process raw soybeans to extract and refine the oil directly, feeding the biodiesel portion of the facility rather than utilizing recycled oil as is done in smaller facilities.

Employees of Matrix Technologies, Inc. help to make a difference for our troops in Iraq
Employees of Matrix Technologies, Inc. help to make a difference for our troops in Iraq. Matrix employees, some veterans themselves, have spearheaded a campaign named “Operation Baseball II”. This campaign aims to donate much needed personal and recreational items to our troops in Iraq. One of the main themes of this campaign and the original operation baseball has been the collection of baseball equipment. Our volunteers have garnered donations from local businesses, sports teams (including the Mud Hens and Tigers), and individuals. The supplies are sent to soldiers who are family members and friends of Matrix employees. The soldiers have been very grateful to receive the supplies and to know that people back here care enough to make the effort. Matrix Technologies, Inc. picks up the shipping costs for the materials that are donated. We at Matrix Technologies, Inc. think it is very important to support our troops and let them know that we care and appreciate the sacrifices that they make each and every day.
