Recognition of Wonderware Certification
Oct 17, 2012
Wonderware, a California-based subsidiary of Invensys, recognizes Matrix Technologies, Inc. for qualifying as an “Archestra-Certified System Integrator”. This accomplishment is a result Matrix’s commitment to train their engineering personnel in the use of Wonderware’s “System Platform” technology, pass online tests, and configure the .NET-based software technology for a minimum of two industrial clients, specifically a Kroger processing plant in Tennessee, and a Louis Dreyfus biodiesel plant in Indiana. Very few engineering firms have qualified for Archestra Certification, which qualifies them for project work with some of the largest manufacturing firms in the world.
Wonderware is distributed in the region by Wonderware Central, Inc. of Indianapolis, IN. Now 20 years old, Wonderware is used by hundreds of midwestern companies including first, second, and third tier automotive parts manufacturers, water and wastewater utilities, and manufacturers of food and pharmaceuticals, appliances, packaged goods, plastic products, and even prisons. Wonderware’s “InTouch” software provides an easily-configured human-machine interface (HMI) that enables operators of industrial machines to input variables and view real-time and historical production data in order to increase quality, throughput, and “up-time”. Wonderware’s “System Platform” technology builds upon the InTouch foundation by enabling supervisors and offsite management to monitor production processes in real time and to use that data for monitoring and tracking inventory, implementing plant-wide efficiency goals, and creating a secure interface to the internet to facilitate worldwide multi-plant data exchange.
