Nicole Hughes Promoted to Department Manager!

Matrix is pleased to announce the promotion of Nicole Hughes to Department Manager. Nicole will be taking over the management responsibilities for the ESD team in Denver. The team includes a staff of 9 engineers and designers representing the PIC, Process Solutions and Facilities groups.
Nicole began her career at Matrix in February, 2012 as a Project Manager. Nicole has nearly 20 years of engineering experience in Pharmaceutical, Environmental Compliance, and Manufacturing industries. Since starting with Matrix, Nicole has successfully managed many projects with both the ES and the IS divisions. Nicole has managed most of the Denver based projects and several corporate account projects.
Nicole graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Refining with a Minor in Environmental Engineering. Prior to joining the Matrix team, Nicole has worked at Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), Cabot, and Roche Pharmaceuticals where she held several roles including Shift Foreman, Process Safety Engineer, Process Engineer and Environmental Engineer.
