Matrix Technologies, Inc. names new President

Matrix Technologies, Inc., one of the largest engineering, system integration and manufacturing operations design firms in North America, is pleased to announce promotion of David Blaida, PE to the position of President.
Matrix Technologies is owned and operated by a group of full-time employees. “Matrix Technologies survives and thrives because of our employees,” said David Bishop, CEO. “We look to select and build future leadership from our internal ranks. Those that build customer relationships and internal teams that solidify our future are on the top of the list,” said Bishop.
“It is with those ideas in mind that I am pleased to announce the promotion of David Blaida to the position of President,” said Bishop. Mr. Blaida has been with Matrix Technologies for 27 years in various positions including Engineer, Group Leader, Department Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing and Vice President.
“From his first day of employment at Matrix, Dave has sought to learn as much as he could about our business and contribute in any way possible. Since becoming a shareholder in Matrix Technologies in 2000, Dave has been instrumental in expanding the influence of Matrix with new and existing manufacturing customers in a variety of industries,” commented Bishop. As President, Mr. Blaida will assume direct responsibility for all production divisions of Matrix, while continuing to coordinate the activities of the Sales and Marketing department. Mr. Bishop will continue with Matrix in the position of CEO.
Mr. Blaida has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the States of Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Kansas.
Mr. Blaida issued a statement commenting on the promotion. “I am honored and humbled to be chosen to lead such a successful organization. The management team and employees at Matrix are unparalleled, and I am pleased to have this opportunity to lead them into the future.”
