Matrix Technologies, Inc. Expands to the Southeast

Feb 4, 2019

Matrix Technologies, Inc., one of the largest system integration and engineering firms in North America, is pleased to announce the expansion into the Southeast region.

The location will provide Multi-discipline Engineering, Automation and Information Engineering services to customers in the surrounding region. The team will bring experience in a wide variety of engineering disciplines and industries.

The Southeast expansion is being driven by continued growth in core Matrix industries, including Oil and Gas, Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Aggregate and Mining, Pulp and Paper, and Specialty Chemical.    Manufacturers have an increasing need for outside help in maintaining the most modern and efficient facilities.  Matrix Technologies is dedicated to providing the technical expertise and process knowledge to perform as that much-needed extension of our customers’ engineering teams.

“We already have several employees and customers located in that area, the next step is to provide an office location that will encourage support among the existing team and to promote further growth,” said David Blaida, President and CEO for the company. “This gives us an opportunity to further build relationships with the current clients as well as expand our reach to new areas,” said Blaida.

“As Matrix has expanded our service offerings to the customer, we recognized it is important to provide operations expertise as well as technical knowledge,” said Blaida.

To solidify the development of the Southeast location and bring an instant level of knowledge and managerial expertise, we are pleased to announce the addition of Matthew Burton, PE to the Matrix team. Matt’s role is Operations Manager for the Southeast region.

Matt Burton, PEMatt previously worked as a founding member and general manager of two other award winning systems integration companies and has held positions as a staff engineer, project leader, and technical consultant in the engineering and technology industries. Matt holds a Bachelor’s of Engineering Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville and a MBA from Tulane University.

“We are excited about the addition of Matt to our team. He has a keen understanding of the tools available in the marketplace, and more importantly, how to best implement them to ensure operational success,” said Blaida.

With the growth of Matrix into the Southeast, the company is looking to create up to 20 new engineering positions in the near term. Interested professionals should apply online at www.matrixti.com.
