Matrix Technologies, Inc. Announces Promotions

Matrix Technologies, Inc., one of the largest engineering, system integration and manufacturing operations design firms in North America, is pleased to announce several promotions as part of an organizational update.
Kevin Grohnke PE, was named to Senior Vice President of operations, previously holding the position of Vice President. In the new role, Mr. Grohnke will oversee and coordinate the activities of all production divisions at Matrix, including Industrial Systems, Engineering, Manufacturing Systems and Solutions, and Project Management.
“In the 37 years Kevin has been with Matrix, he has held positions in each of those operating divisions, and as such brings a unique perspecive to his new role,” said David Blaida, President of Matrix Technologies. “As we have grown in the number of people and in the types of services we provide, we recognized the need to provide tighter coordination among the operating divisions. Kevin’s new role will fill that need,” said Mr. Blaida.
Mr. Grohnke is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Ohio and has a BSEE from The University of Cincinnati.
Bill Schuller PE, was named Senior Vice President of Engineering, his previous position was Vice President. In his new role, he will focus on further development of project procedures, standards and best practices to be applied to the company’s projects. He will also act as a consultant with strategic partners to help them define and better regulate their project procedures and processes.
“Bill’s experience both on the customer and consulting side of engineering make him the perfect fit as a consultant for internal and external customers alike,” said Mr. Blaida. Mr. Schuller is a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Ohio and graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Throughout his career he has achieved numerous accomplishments including the “New Process Award” from Chemical Processing Magazine in 1990. He also is the co-author of two (2) U.S. Patents.
Tim Lemoine PE, was named Director of Engineering, his previous position was Associate Director of Engineering. In his new role, Tim will be directing the day to day operations of the Engineering Division of Matrix Technologies, which provides full-service engineering capabilities to our industrial customer base.
“Tim has a passion for continuous improvement of our engineering operations, and brings the leadership necessary to implement those improvements,” said Mr. Blaida. “We look forward to continued growth and success in the Engineering Division under Tim’s direction.” Mr. Lemoine is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Michigan and 18 other states. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Toledo.
