Matrix Named 2016 System Integrator of the Year
Dec 10, 2015
We are proud to announce that the editors of Control Engineering and Plant Engineering magazines have selected Matrix Technologies as the 2016 System Integrator of the Year. Matrix is the first and only company to win this prestigious award three times.
System Integrator of the Year is a highly competitive honor presented annually to integrators in three categories based on annual revenue.
For the first time this year, Matrix won in the largest company category, for companies with annual sales over $25 million. Matrix previously won in the midsized company category in 2012 and 2008. The company was inducted into the Control Engineering System Integrator Hall of Fame in 2009.
Now celebrating its 35th anniversary, Matrix is a single-source provider of automation, engineering, manufacturing operations management, and Engineer, Procure, and Construct (EPC) services to many of the world’s largest industrial manufacturers. Our customers include FORTUNE® 500 manufacturers of food, beverage, oil, gas, chemical, pharmaceutical/biotech, metals, aggregates, and consumer packaged goods products.
Control Engineering editors observed that “judges again were impressed with the depth of experience among system integrators and the variety of projects they tackle each year. Matrix Technologies continues to build on its long history of service to the integrator community. While the company is proud of its growth in revenue, it also spent the last four years improving its internal employee relations program.”
David L. Bishop, Matrix President and CEO, expressed the company’s pride in winning the award for the third time, noting that “the single biggest factor in our company’s success is our employees who provide services to our customers. This award is a direct reflection of their caliber and talent and their commitment to delivering top-quality results on every project.”
Control Engineering has published a special editorial supplement featuring an in-depth interview with Matrix President and CEO David L. Bishop and Executive Vice President David J. Blaida. Both executives are also featured in a video interview and Dave Blaida participated in an industry roundtable discussion video with other winners.
