Doug Medley, PE Earns Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Certification

Doug Medley is a Senior Project Engineer in the Engineering Division in Maumee, Ohio.  He has a varied, multiple disciplined engineering background with engineering experience in three phase power systems, electrical controls, PLC/HMI development, mechanical design and process development and controls. Doug’s most recent projects have included electrical power distribution systems, facility electrical systems, lighting design, power metering, power factor correction, motor controls and PLC design projects.  Doug also leads our team that performs ASHRAE energy audits for our clients looking to reduce their energy footprint and increase their operational efficiency or meet their corporate sustainability goals.

A Certified Energy Manager is an individual who optimizes the energy performance of a facility, building or industrial plant.  The CEM® is a systems integrator for electrical, mechanical, process and building infrastructure, analyzing the optimum solutions to reduce energy consumption in a cost effective approach.  CEM’s are team leaders that help to develop and implement energy management strategies for their clients.  CEM’s have gained increased recognition within the energy industry and with companies looking to strengthen their competitive position by utilizing a CEM to assist them with their corporate sustainability goals.
