Studio 5000 Logix Emulate

Tom Hudson, Controls Engineer at Matrix Technologies, Inc. shows how to use the Studio 5000 Logix Emulate software to test a Studio 5000 Logix Designer version 33 PLC program with a Factory Talk View Machine Edition Version 12 HMI application. This is useful for situations when you quickly want to test your PLC development code, but don’t have a physical PLC to download your program into. Most Rockwell software shown in this video does require activation licensing that can be bought from Rockwell Automation. Using older versions of the software will require similar procedures as show in this video, but may not be identical.
