Screener Replacement

Project Type: Multi-discipline project to design a replacement screener.  Included structural, mechanical and electrical design.

Project Scope: One of our key customers had an aging screener system installed in one of their processing facilities.  This equipment was failing and needed to be replaced.  It’s location within the facility was extremely tight, and the replacement process needed to be very accurate and allow for quick replacement.   The Matrix Technologies solution involved a detailed 3D design of the new system, and allowed for accurate estimating and installation by the contractors.

Engineering Challenges: Tight spaces and a very congested area presented challenges for accurate engineering design.

Products and Technologies Used: 3D laser scanning and 3D design of replacement equipment.

Project Outcome: Successful installation of the upgraded equipment with minimal downtime.
